Bracke Manufacturing, LLC, a leading manufacturer of RF & Microwave components based in Irvine California, is pleased to announce the release of a new High Performance series of DC Blocks with working frequency ranges from .01 GHz to 18 GHz.  DC Blocks are primarily used in applications to inject or remove DC currents in RF circuits without affecting the RF signal through the main transmission path.

All Bracke inner DC Blocks utilize a capacitor in series with the center conductor which prevents the transfer of direct current and audio all while exhibiting minimum interference to RF signals.   All Bracke outer DC Blocks have a capacitor in series with the outer conductor.  The inner/outer series have capacitors in series with both the inner and outer conductors.

All High Performance DC Blocks50 ohm Type N, SMA and TNC series DC Blocks feature a working Frequency range of 10 MHz thru 18 GHz along with a 200 volt working voltage.  They also feature gold plated beryllium copper center conductors along with passivated stainless steel bodies. The BNC series features a working Frequency range of 10 MHz thru 4 GHz along with a 200 volt working voltage. All BNC DC Blocks feature gold plated beryllium copper center conductors along with brass nickel plated bodies.

Featured on all outer and inner/outer DC Blocks manufactured by Bracke is an insulator made of polyetherketone (PEEK).  Bracke DC Blocks can be used in many applications such as ground loop elimination, system signal to noise ratio improvement, test setup isolation and other applications where undesired DC or audio current flows in the system.

Bracke Manufacturing, LLC’s standard DC Blocks are available off the self for immediate delivery.  Special order connector series, including those with higher working voltages and other impedance, can be ordered with a typical 1 week turn around.  For more information, please see our web site www.brackemfg.com or call our technical department at 949-756-1600.
